Artwork Requirements

    To ensure your signage is produced to the highest standard, please follow these artwork requirements before submitting your files. These apply whether the artwork is created by you or provided by a third party.

    General Requirements

    • Use our product templates when available. Specific template instructions are listed on each product page.
    • Include 5mm bleed for standard signs and banners. Double-sided or fabric items may require different bleed settings.
    • Do not include crop marks, colour bars, or registration marks within the bleed area.
    • Clearly indicate finished size using the artboard or page boundary. If crop marks are used, they must sit outside the bleed.
    • Submit each design as a separate file or page.
    • Name your files clearly, including dimensions and description (e.g., 2m x 1m ShopFront.pdf or 2m x 1m ShopFront x 3.pdf).
    • Maintain correct width-to-height ratio.
    • Use CMYK colour mode.
    • Embed all images.
    • Convert all fonts to outlines or curves.
    • Remove any template guides or non-printing layers.
    • Let us know how many unique designs are included in your order.

    Accepted File Formats

    • PDF (preferred)
    • EPS
    • AI
    • PSD (flattened)
    • TIFF (flattened)
    • JPEG (high-resolution)

    Not Accepted

    Artwork that doesn’t meet our requirements may delay your order or result in poor print quality. Please avoid:

    • Missing bleed or incorrect dimensions
    • Multiple designs on one page
    • Altered or outdated templates
    • RGB colour mode
    • Missing links or unembedded images
    • Fonts not converted to outlines
    • Password-protected files
    • Unnecessary or surplus artwork

    Unsupported file formats include:
    INDD, QXP, CDR, SVG, GIF, PNG, BMP, DOC/DOCX, XLS/XLSX, PPT/PPTX, PUB, and files from non-Adobe applications (e.g., Canva, CorelDRAW, AutoCAD)

    If you’ve used a non-Adobe program, please let us know and ensure your artwork meets all requirements. Always check your final PDF in Adobe Reader before sending.

    Colour Matching & Pantones

    Pantone colours with effects (like transparency) may not print as expected. For best results, use CMYK colours when applying effects. If colour accuracy is critical, we recommend ordering a test print first.

    Final Notes

    We cannot be held responsible for issues within your artwork such as:

    • Spelling or grammatical errors
    • Incorrect colour modes
    • Low resolution
    • Missing fonts or images

    If your artwork size differs from your order, we will default to the ordered size. We may notify you if resolution is extremely low, but final responsibility lies with the artwork provider.
